Lakes and Coorong Fishery Licence - South Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to undertake commercial fishing in the Lakes and Coorong Fishery. The Lakes and Coorong Fishery includes the waters of the Coorong, Lake Alexandrina, Lake Albert, and specified coastal waters.

No new licences for the Lakes and Coorong Fishery are being issued. Licences are only available by transfer from an existing licence holder.

Licence applicants are also required to register:

  • any boat or device used under this licence
  • a person as a master of any boat used under this licence.

Licences are transferable. You may only obtain a licence through purchase and transfer from the licence holder to you.

You may also transfer your pipi (a small bivalve mollusc) quota entitlement.
