Lakes and Coorong Fishery Licence - South Australia

Service summary

The Lakes and Coorong Fishery Licence permits fishing in the Coorong, Lakes Alexandrina and Albert and specified marine waters extending from Goolwa Beach Road to the Kingston jetty. No new licences are being issued by the Department. Licences are only available by transfer from an existing licence holder.

Applicants must be a natural person (not a company) a minimum of 15 years of age, nominated by an existing licence holder and have not within three years of the date of application been convicted in the State or elsewhere in Australia of an offence involving a breach of any legislation relating to fishing.
