You will need to notify the agency prior to commencing notifiable demolition work. Notifiable demolition work includes:
- demolition of a load bearing structure that is 6 metres or taller
- demolition work involving load shifting machinery on a suspended floor
- demolition work involving explosives.
Notice must be submitted at least five days before work commences. The notification can be submitted online through the SafeWork SA notifications portal.
