Permit to Purchase Certain Poisons for Industrial, Educational, Advisory or Research Purposes - Tasmania

Service summary

You will require this permit if you intend to purchase from a licensed manufacturing or wholesale chemist any of the substances specified in Schedule 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the Poisons List.

The Poisons List refers to Part 4 and Appendix C of the Uniform Standard or the Uniform Scheduling of Medicines and Poisons (SUSMP), as it is also sometimes referred to. A copy of this document can be obtained via the Agency.

This permit will only be granted if the scheduled substance is being purchased for use in industry, education, research or for advisory purposes.
