Bookmaker Registration - Tasmania

Description

You will need this registration if you intend to act as a bookmaker or in a bookmaker partnership at a thoroughbred, harness or greyhound race meeting or approved sports event.

If you intend to accept telephone bets, you will need to apply for a separate endorsement on your registration. You may apply for either an on-course or off-course telephone betting endorsement.

You must have been registered for at least 2 years to be approved for off-course betting endorsements.

  • have sufficient assets to carry on the business of a bookmaker
