Fishing Activities Permit - Tasmania

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to conduct any activities that are otherwise prohibited under fishing legislation. Examples of such activities include:

  • aboriginal cultural and ceremonial activities
  • scientific research
  • promotion of fishing or fish products
  • the development of new fisheries and fishing technology
  • developing educational and community programs
  • collecting, keeping, breeding, hatching or cultivating of rare or endangered fish
  • bio-prospecting.
