Description

You may need to comply with this standard if you intend to be involved in the primary production and processing of poultry meat for human consumption.

This standard sets out the food safety requirements and the measures that must be implemented to control food safety hazards during the primary production and processing of poultry meat. In part, this standard is intended to reduce the contamination of poultry, poultry carcasses and poultry meat by pathogenic Campylobacter and Salmonella.
