Registration to Offer Senior Secondary Courses - Tasmania

Service summary

You may require this registration if you operate a school or college that intends to offer senior secondary education courses. Senior secondary education is defined as education undertaken by students who have completed Year 10 secondary education. In order to obtain this registration, providers must comply with:

  • quality assurance requirements for validity and comparability in both internal and external assessments
  • standards for the authenticity and academic integrity of student work submitted for assessment
  • data collection requirements.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this registration, you must:

  • complete any forms as required by the Authority
  • pay the prescribed fee

  • fulfil all the requirements as to the standards, learning outcomes, assessment procedures, course content and teaching methods as prescribed by the Authority.
