Service summary

You will require this licence if you intend to own or run a casino in Tasmania.

At present the Tasmanian Government has granted exclusive casino licences to the Federal Group to operate Wrest Point Hotel Casino and Country Club Casino in Tasmania. The Deed of Agreement between the Crown and Federal Hotels Pty Ltd provides exclusive rights for the Federal Group to operate table gaming, gaming machines and keno throughout the State of Tasmania until 30 June 2018.
