Description

You must comply with this standard if intend to assess radiation apparatus classified as x-ray biopsy for the purpose of issuing a certificate of compliance. You may need to be an accredited person.

Equipment of this type is only used for in-vitro imaging of incisional, core or excisional biopsies. In order for a certificate to be issued, the radiation apparatus must be shown to fully comply with the requirements in this standard.
