Service summary

You will require this approval if you intend operate a Tasmanian laboratory where food samples can be analysed. Analysis includes the examination and testing of food.

All analysis of food undertaken in an approved laboratory must comply with the requirements of the Food Standards Code. The results of the analysis are to be reported in the approved form as prescribed in the Act.
