Guidelines for the Sale of Tobacco - Tasmania

Service summary

You are required to comply with these guidelines if you intend to sell tobacco or tobacco products over the counter or via a vending machine. Tobacco products include any cigars or cigarettes, any product of which tobacco is an ingredient, or any device designed or intended only for use with tobacco.

These guidelines set out the requirements you must abide by regarding signage, pricing tickets and price boards. Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
