You will require this licence if you intend to hunt wallaby commercially. You will only be allowed to hunt wallaby during the open season specified in the licence. Commercial hunting of wallaby involves taking their skin or meat to sell.
Skin and meat must only be sold to the holder of relevant accreditation. Please consult the Contact Officer for more information.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
To be eligible for this licence, you must:
- Provide a completed application form that includes your firearms licence number and date of birth; and
- Pay any required fees.
If you intend to sell game animal carcases (meat) then you must provide a copy of a Certificate in Meat Processing (Game Meat Hunters and Shooters). Please consult the Contact Officer for more information regarding eligibility requirements.
Remains valid for the season specified.
Your application may be lodged by mail or in person at any Service Tasmania outlet.
