Code of Practice for Precursors for Explosives - Tasmania

Note that this standard has been updated and you will need to meet the requirements set out in Code of Practice - Storage and Handling of UN3375.

You will need to comply with this code if you intend to manufacture, transport, store, or use precursors in commercial blasting operations. A precursor is a material intended to be used exclusively in the production of an explosive.

This code sets out the requirements and recommendations to control the risks arising from the storage, handling, transport and security of ammonium nitrate emulsions, suspensions and gels, which conform to UN3375.

This code may be amended from time to time.
