Service summary

You will require this permit if you intend to organise or conduct a road cycle race that will be held wholly or partly on a public street. You will also require this permit if you intend to organise a road cycle event (an event that involves more than 70 cyclists that requires the use of public streets).

  • a full description of the race and its purpose
  • maps detailing the course and area of the race
  • the use of traffic marshals
  • safety related strategies
  • the number and age of participants
  • insurance coverage and details
  • any applicable news release / newspaper advertising details.
