Service summary

New Tasmanian building laws have come into effect from the 1 January 2017. These laws will update requirements for building and plumbing work. This record will be updated to reflect the new building laws in early January.

You will require a qualified building surveyor to issue you a Certificate of Final Inspection to prove that all relevant building work has been completed according to legislative requirements.

You will not be able to receive a Certificate of Completion without having first received your Certificate of Final Inspection.
