You will require this licence if you are an employee of a gaming establishment and you intend to perform the following types of duties:
- Keno writer;
- Gaming machine attendant or supervisor;
- Technician (Class A or B);
- Casino security or management; and
- Betting exchange operative.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
To be eligible for this licence you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Undergo a probity investigation;
- Provide four recent passport photographs signed by an acceptable witness;
- Supply any relevant competency certificates; and
- Pay any required fees.
In order to be considered to be a suitable person to be involved in the conduct of a gaming business, your character, honesty, and integrity will be taken into consideration.
