Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code - Tasmania

Service summary

You may be required to comply with this code if you operate or own a dairy farm. A dairy farm is any premises where cows are kept or milked for the purpose of producing milk for profit or sale.

The code is a collection of individual food standards, and covers:

  • Standards which apply to all foods;
  • Standards affecting particular classes of foods;
  • Food hygiene issues specific to Australia; and
  • Standards for the primary production of food in Australia.
