You will require the licence if you intend to hunt or take game. Game includes deer, wild duck, muttonbird, wallaby, brown quail or pheasant. Game licences are for recreational hunting within prescribed seasons.

To be eligible for this licence you must:
- Possess a current firearms licence;
- Be aged over 16 years if a firearm will need to be used to take game;
- Be willing to supply the Agency with the required annual take information as requested;
- Pay the prescribed fee; and
- Submit a completed application form and any supporting documentation as required.
