Land Lease Approval - Tasmania

Service summary

You may apply for approval to lease land for purposes relating to mining or mining activities. This approval will only be granted to the holder, or former holder, of a mining lease. Land will be leased for any of the following purposes:

  • To store any building, machinery, mining product or other property on the land;
  • To enable access to land to which your lease relates;
  • To enable work associated with mining on your lease to be carried out; or
  • To enable the rehabilitation of the land, where the land has been affected by mining operations on your lease.
