You may apply for approval to lease land for purposes relating to mining or mining activities. This approval will only be granted to the holder, or former holder, of a mining lease. Land will be leased for any of the following purposes:
- to store any building, machinery, mining product or other property on the land
- to enable access to land to which your lease relates
- to enable work associated with mining on your lease to be carried out
- to enable the rehabilitation of the land, where the land has been affected by mining operations on your lease.
