Description

To class your land as urban farm land, you must apply to receive a declaration from your local Council. Urban farm land, is land that:

  • provides the owner with their principal livelihood
  • has an increased value due to the proximity to residential, industrial or commercial land, or due to a substantial demand for rural residential land
  • is used for substantial agricultural, pastoral, forestry, horticultural, viticultural, apicultural, fruit growing, dairy farming, poultry farming or horse farming purposes.
