Apiary or Bee Keeping Permit on Permanent Timber Production Zone Land - Tasmania

Service summary

You will require this permit if you intend conducting apiary operations on Tasmanian permanent timber production zone land. Access to such lands is governed by the Authority and is usually granted primarily for the collection of leatherwood honey.

Please be aware that regulations under the Animal Health Act apply to the import of bees, apiary products or used apiary equipment and you may be required to provide a health certificate to the relevant Agency for any imported goods.
