Registration of a Group Training Organisation - Tasmania

Description

You will need this registration if you intend to provide group training services to more than 10 employees.

A group training organisation is a business that employs trainees or apprentices under training contracts, and places them with host employers. A host employer is an organisation that hosts, under a written agreement, an apprentice or trainee employed by a group training organisation.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for registration you must:

  • be a fit and proper person
  • comply with the National Standards for Group Training Organisations
  • comply with the Tasmanian Operational Requirements
  • complete an application to register and an external audit checklist.
