You will require this permit if you intend to sell or offer to sell goods or services from temporary or various locations. This includes traditional itinerant / occasional activities such as undertaking door-to-door sales, selling goods or services from place to place, or selling goods or services from a vehicle.

Eligibility requirements

In order to be eligible for this permit you must:

  • obtain any other relevant permits or approvals (for example, food permits)
  • have adequate insurance
  • ensure the activity will not be a nuisance, or in any other way adversely affect the amenity of the surrounding area
  • indemnify the Council against liability arising from activities authorised by the permit.
