Service summary

You will require this permit if you intend to solicit or collect any materials, gifts of money or subscriptions from a public place or door to door. Exemptions may apply for particular charities.

Eligibility requirements

All roadside fundraising collections must be approved by council and further approval may be needed from VicRoads and Victorian Police.

If you are planning on conducting a tin shake at an intersection, you will need to seek permission in writing from the Local Laws Department.
