Registration as a Greyhound Catcher - Victoria

Service summary

You will require this registration if you intend to catch greyhounds at the conclusion of a race. Registration is now compulsory for all catchers for occupational health and safety reasons.

All applications are made through FastTrack and require the applicant to be a member of Greyhound Racing Victoria.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this registration you must:

  • be at least 14 years of old
  • make an appointment with an authorised person to have a practical assessment
  • complete and submit an application form and completed assessment form
  • complete a tax compliance form
  • comply with the rules of Greyhound Racing Victoria.

Duration

1 year or 3 years.

Expiry

30th June in the year of application.
