Note that this standard has been updated and you will need to meet the requirements set out in AS 1546.3:2017 On-site Wastewater Treatment Units Secondary Treatments Systems.

You are required to comply with this standard for installing or altering any aerated wastewater treatment systems. These standards set out the minimum requirements that must be met regarding the instillation of on-site wastewater treatment units.
