Group Recreational Fishery Licence - Victoria

Service summary

You will require this licence if you intend to operate a commercial enterprise offering group recreational fishing (e.g. game fishing or tour operator). The licence may be issued to the representative of the group and authorises members of the group to take or attempt to take:

  • fish from inland waters
  • rock lobster from marine waters
  • fish other than rock lobster from marine waters.

The licence is issued for any purpose other than for the taking of fish for sale and may be issued on a one-off basis or any other basis the agency thinks appropriate.

This licence may be cancelled at any time without notice.

  • make your application using the appropriate form
  • nominate a responsible person on behalf of the group
  • pay the fee
  • agree to comply with all conditions placed on the issue of the licence.
