You will require this licence if you intend to operate a food or beverage business and provide tables and chairs on a footpath or part of a road where customers can sit and consume their food or drinks.

The council can provide more information in ascertaining the number of tables and chairs permissible on the particular site.

Please consult the Council for any conditions on this permit. The issue of a Permit under

Local Law 5 includes a blanket cover for Public Liability Insurance of $5 million. Permits must be kept current and displayed.

Valid from 1 July to 30 June each year.
