You will require this approval if you intend to establish an overseas student exchange organisation that offers student exchange programs into and out of Victoria. A student exchange organisation has the purpose of broadening students' educational experiences and intercultural understanding.
An exchange organisation allows overseas students to study within Victoria for a period ranging from 29 days up to one year. Please consult the responsible agency for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
In order to be eligible for this approval you must:
- meet certain Commonwealth standards
- be a suitable school, person, or organisation
- correctly complete an application form and provide the required documentation
- be willing to abide by any conditions or restrictions placed on your approval by the Agency
- pay any required fees.
