Description

You will need this permit if you are a declared community or charitable organisation (CCO) and intend to undertake any of the following activities:

  •     raffles (where the total prize value exceeds $5000)
  •     lucky envelopes
  •     fundraising events.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this permit, you must:

  • be a declared community or charitable organisation (if not, you must complete a separate application to become a declared community or charitable organisation and lodge it together with the application for this permit)
  • nominate a person who is at least 18 years old to be responsible for the conduct of the activity and obtain their consent to act
  • specify the activity you intend to conduct under the permit and the proposed date of the activity
  • complete the relevant activity application form and all other specified documentation
  • pay the prescribed fee(s).
