You will require this permit if you intend to consume or possess liquor in unsealed containers in public places, or make liquor consumption in public available to others.

Places covered by this permit may vary, and include all those owned, occupied, managed or cared for by your local council to which the public has access (whether or not on the payment of an admittance fee, such as for a special public celebration or event), this also includes within a motor vehicle that is within or on a public place.

Your council may stipulate certain areas and times for which this permit is required.
