You will require this permit if you hold a firearm collector's licence and intend to carry or use firearms at a commemorative or historical event. The event must be approved by Victoria Police, sponsored by an approved organisation of firearms collectors and held at an approved range.

Eligibility requirements

In order to be eligible for this permit you must:

  • hold either a Category 1 or Category 2 Firearm Collector's Licence
  • pay any fees
  • ensure the event is approved by the Agency, sponsored by an approved organisation of firearms collectors, and held at an approved range
  • comply with any further conditions imposed by the agency.
