National Quality Standard for Child Care and Education Services - Victoria

Service summary

You will need to comply with this standard if you intend to provide child care. This applies to family day care services and centre-based services.

The standard provides national benchmarks for the quality of education and care services. Your education and care service will be assessed against the standard. The Agency may refuse your application for a services approval if your service does not meet the requirements of the standard. An existing service approval may also be suspended or terminated if the service is assessed as failing to meet the standard.

Please consult the responsible agency for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required.
