Service summary

You will require this licence if you intend to operate a business that provides aerial spraying services or employ pilots to carry out aerial spraying. The activities requiring this licence typically cover aerial spraying of farm chemicals over or around forestry or crops or surrounding lands.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must:

  • operate an aerial spraying business that meets the requirements of the current legislation, or Operation Spray Safe, or be assessed by the agency as operating to a similar standard
  • provide information on any previous convictions under any of the Acts specified on the application form
  • make an application on the approved form along with accompanying documentation
  • pay any required fees.

Ongoing requirements

You will be required to keep specified records of all chemical applications, to keep these records for a minimum of two years, and to provide specified notifications to landowners. Location and other restrictions may apply.
