Australian Standard AS 2118.4-2012 Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems - Residential - Victoria

Description

You will be required to comply with this Standard if you own a residential care building built before 1 August 1997 or a shared accommodation building, such as backpacker accommodation, hotels or motels, built before 1 July 2003.

Building regulations require that you must have a residential type fire sprinkler system complying with this standard installed in your building. This Standard specifies the general requirements for the design, installation and commissioning of automatic fire sprinkler systems in buildings.
