Commercial parking permits are available for businesses that require a parking area for activities such as works, deliveries, or promotions. Other temporary permits may be applicable, such as parking permits for medical personnel or tradespersons near work sites.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

You will need to provide evidence that your business is permanently located within the municipality. On street business parking will only be considered if there is no off-street parking. Please consult with the Council for specific details regarding compliance with this permit.

Ongoing requirements

Any tradesperson must be parked in proximity to the address in which they are working and must have a permit displayed on the passenger side of the dashboard of their vehicle at all times.

Business parking permits can be transferred between vehicles so as to allow various staff members to utilise the park. There is a maximum of two parking permits allowed per business property, but if a business has an off-street parking space, then it is only eligible for one permit. Businesses with more than one hundred employees, additional permits may be granted.

Business parking permits expire on 30 June each year.
