You will require this licence if you intend to operate a power generation company on reserved forest land, for the purposes of the generation of electricity for supply or sale.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
To be eligible for this approval, you must:
- Apply using the prescribed form;
- Provide any plans required by the Authority;
- Provide any other information and documentation required by the Authority; and
- Pay the prescribed fees.
Ongoing conditions may apply including lease renewal requirements.
