Licence to Keep a Kennel Establishment - Western Australia

Service summary

You will require this licence if you intend to operate a kennel or keep more than the prescribed number of dogs on your premises. The prescribed number of dogs can differ between councils. Your premises will be inspected by the Council ranger to determine if it is suitable for the proposed purpose.

Be aware that where current complaints have been received about dogs on your property, applications may not be supported by the Council.

You are required to forward a notice to the owners and occupiers of all land within the radius of 275 metres of the boundaries of the proposed kennel.
