You will require this approval if you intend to conduct an event with non-complying noise levels on any premises. You must notify the Council and obtain their acknowledgement of this event. A sign must be placed in a prominent location notifying those outside the premises of the non-complying noise levels.
Events that might be covered by this approval include sporting, cultural or entertainment events.

To be eligible for approval, you must demonstrate that your proposed event would lose its character or usefulness if it were required to comply with applicable noise standards. Approval is at the discretion of the Council.
