Painting Practitioner Registration - Western Australia

Service summary

You will require this registration if you intend to be the nominated supervisor for a painting services contractor in Western Australia.

This registration does not permit you to contract with consumers directly for painting work. If you intend to contract with a consumer as a sole trader, you will be required to apply for registration as a Painting Contractor.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible to obtain painting service practitioner registration you must:

  • provide additional information relevant to the application as required by the Board, noting that this may need to be provided in the form of a Statutory Declaration
  • have the qualifications and experience prescribed by the regulations for the class of painting practitioner
  • be a fit and proper person to be registered
  • submit the required forms
  • pay the required fees.
