You will require this registration if you intend to be the nominated supervisor for a painting services contractor in Western Australia.
This registration does not permit you to contract with consumers directly for painting work. If you intend to contract with a consumer as a sole trader, you will be required to apply for registration as a Painting Contractor.

To be eligible to obtain painting service practitioner registration you must:
- provide additional information relevant to the application as required by the Board, noting that this may need to be provided in the form of a Statutory Declaration
- have the qualifications and experience prescribed by the regulations for the class of painting practitioner
- be a fit and proper person to be registered
- submit the required forms
- pay the required fees.
