Apply
Your application for this approval must specify the:
- purpose for which the approval is sought
- activities that will be carried on at the quarantine facility and the procedures that will be used in the course of the activities
- potential carrier or the scientific name or group of any declared pest proposed to be kept at the facility.
You must also provide an acknowledgement of your understanding that the grant of approval is subject to compliance with relevant animal welfare legislation, periodic inspection by officials may occur and that the approval may be revoked or suspended by the Agency at any time.
Renew
An application for the renewal of approval must be made not later than three months before the day on which the approval is due to expire. Renewal of an approval takes effect on the day after the expiry day.
