You will require this registration if you intend to deliver nationally recognised training as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). You are eligible for this registration if your head office is located in Western Australia, or the majority of your intended course delivery and assessment will be in Western Australia.
This registration does not cover training provided to people in other states (including online training).

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
To be eligible for this registration you must:
- Provide a profile of your organisation;
- Detail the type of training your organisation proposes to deliver;
- Sign a registration commitment;
- Have sufficient resources to operate as an RTO;
- Provide documentary evidence to support your application;
- Submit any required forms; and
- Pay any required fees.
If you are registered as an RTO in another state, you may be eligible to operate as a RTO in Western Australia. Please consult the Contact Officer for more information regarding eligibility requirements.
