Electrician's Training Licence - Western Australia

Service summary

You will require this licence if you intend to enter into an apprenticeship, pre-apprenticeship or a training course as an electrician. As a holder of an Electrician's Training Licence you may only work when under the supervision of a fully licensed electrician.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must:

  • complete the relevant training (or a substantial part of it)
  • provide a completed copy of the Apprentice Safety Assessment Report
  • submit the required form
  • pay the required fees.

Duration

Continues until the applicant is granted an electricians licence or 3 months after the course is completed.
