Carrier Boat Licence - Western Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to operate a carrier boat. A carrier boat is a boat used for transporting fish for commercial purposes that have been taken by a different commercial fishing boat. If you have day to day control of the carrier boat, you must ensure that it is licensed.

A licence is not needed for a tender dinghy to a licensed fishing boat if it does not exceed six metres in length and is used for carrying fish taken by that boat.
