You may need to comply with this recommendation if you intend to use or manufacture a gaseous tritium light device. Gaseous tritium light devices are self luminous devices, generally created for the purpose of safety, that have radioactive elements but are not considered a radioactive substance.

The self luminous device must also contain less than 18.5 gigabecquerel of Hydrogen-3.
