Service summary

You will require this registration if you are employed by a licensed real estate or business agent and intend to act as that agent's representative.

You may perform any of the functions of the licensed real estate or business agent you are working for, including sales person or property manager. You must not operate or control a real estate business as you are not a licensed estate agent.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this registration you must:

  • Be over the age of 18;
  • Be of good character and a fit and proper person;
  • Fully understand the duties and obligations imposed on you;
  • Obtain a national police certificate;
  • Hold the required qualifications (or equivalent);
  • Submit the required forms; and
  • Pay the required fees.

If you hold a current equivalent registration in another Australian State or Territory, or in New Zealand, you may be eligible to apply for this registration under mutual recognition arrangements.
