Registration as a Real Estate or Business Sales Representative - Western Australia

Description

You will need this registration if you are employed by a licensed real estate or business agent and intend to act as that agent's representative.

There are three registration pathways:

  • unrestricted (can complete sales and property management transactions)
  • restricted to sales transactions
  • restricted to property management transactions.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this registration you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • be a fit and proper person of good character and repute
  • fully understand the duties and obligations imposed on you
  • hold a current National Police Certificate
  • hold the prescribed qualifications.

If you hold a current equivalent registration in another Australian State or Territory, or in New Zealand, you may be eligible to apply for this registration under mutual recognition arrangements.

Duration

Three years unless surrendered or cancelled.
