Fish Processor's Licence - Western Australia

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to process fish for a commercial purpose.

Your licence will authorise you to process fish which have been purchased from the holder of a commercial fishing or aquaculture licence. Your licence will not authorise you to process marron, unless the marron are sold by the holder of an aquaculture licence in accordance with the regulations.

  • be considered a fit and proper person
  • have obtained a permit to construct or establish your fish processing facilities
  • provide details as required by the board, including information on location and intended activities
  • satisfy the Agency that it is in the better interests of the fishing industry to grant the licence.
