Unrestricted Asbestos Removal Licence - Western Australia

Service summary

You may require this licence if you intend to remove asbestos. This licence will allow you to remove all forms of asbestos (both friable and non-friable). If you intend to remove only bonded (non-friable) asbestos exceeding 10 square metres in total, you may instead apply for a restricted asbestos removal licence.

If you intend to remove only bonded (non-friable) asbestos less than 10 square metres in total, you do not require a licence.

To be eligible for this licence you must:

  • satisfy the Agency that you are able to conduct asbestos removal work in a safe and proper manner
  • be deemed a fit and proper person to hold the licence
  • submit the required forms
  • pay the required fees.
