Light Vehicle Modification Approval - Western Australia

Service summary

You will require this approval if you intend to modify a vehicle. Approval is required for any alteration to a car, or part of a car from:

  • The manufacturer's specifications
  • Its form when it was first licensed.

Certain minor modifications can be carried out without approval. However, all modifications must conform to the applicable regulations and rules.
