Waste Management Auditor - Western Australia

Service summary

You will require this approval if you intend to operate as an auditor for the control or management of premises on which waste is deposited or stored. An auditor is required to conduct an inspection and report to the Agency on the composition or quantity of waste deposited or stored on the premises; the risk to people, property or the environment from that waste and the safety of the premises.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this approval you must:

  • Hold the relevant qualifications and experience appropriate to conduct a waste audit;
  • Have no affiliation to the premises where the audit is to be conducted; and
  • Be able conduct the audit and to prepare a report based on the directions of the Agency.
